About SF Pro
SF Pro is part of San Francisco, the system typeface Apple introduced in 2015 and uses across its platforms. Apple describes it as a neutral, flexible sans serif. It comes in nine weights, four widths and a Rounded variant, with optical sizes that adjust spacing and details for small text and large display use.
Because it is the voice of iPhone, iPad and Mac interfaces, many designers want to use it everywhere. Apple's license, however, only permits using it to create mockups of interfaces for software running on Apple's platforms. For websites, logos and other products, a free alternative like Inter is the safe choice.
